Poker

Poker is a gambling game where players place bets in a pot. Each player contributes a fixed amount to the pot (known as the ante). Bets are made clockwise and the highest hand wins the pot. There are three betting options: raising the initial bet, folding, and calling. In some games, players are required to make a forced bet before the game begins.

A poker game can have as many as five players. However, six or eight players are the ideal number for this type of game. The pot is the total amount of bets made by all players in a single deal.
